The *Friends of WarChild* is a group in Second Life devoted to helping War Child Canada. Here, you can learn about the project, our events, and the people who run them. You can find out how you can help too!

War Child Canada is a registered Canadian charity (Charity nr: 872374426RR0001) dedicated to providing urgently needed humanitarian assistance to war-affected children around the world. War Child Canada helps generate awareness, support and advocacy for children's rights everywhere.

War Child Canada has approved of both this project and group in the Virtual world of Second Life. All the actions of this group and all the donations made to its donationsigns go to the support of War Child Canada. You can find more info about all of this at 'the project explained' page.

This group is related to War Child Canada only, and is not associated with any other War Child Group or event in Second Life. All of our events and fundraising are done under the *Friends of WarChild* banner. If you don’t see *Friends of WarChild* it’s NOT part of this project.
